CLOSED Rubbermaid Reveal spray mop review and giveaway!! Ends 11/14

Save more and waste less with the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. The microfiber pad is reusable so you no longer have to buy disposable pads. Plus Reveal picks up 50% more dirt and dust per swipe than traditional mops. The Refillable Spray bottle allows you to stop buying expensive solutions and create your own using your favorite household cleaner or use plain hot.

I was very excited to have been given the opportunity to review the Rubbermaid Reveal spray mop. I am endlessly searching for easier time saving ways to mop my floors. My entire downstairs of my home is mostly hardwood except the kitchen which is linoleum so you can imagine how big of a task it is to mop. Especially with two kids under 7 and a very furry dog it is a very painstaking job and i do not always get the time to mop. I cant mop it with kids running around because it is very slippery and it defeats the purpose of cleaning it.

As soon as it got here I broke it out of the box and got to mopping it is very simple to set up. It came with 2 bottles and 3 microfiber pads which was a surprise I was only expecting one of each. It is refillable reusable and doesn't take any batteries.  I used one bottle with my Murphy's oil soap for my hardwood and the other with pine sol for my Linoleum. I really love how I can choose what cleaners to use and I can fill the bottles up with hot water. I started with my hardwood floors like I always do. It sprays very well i had to spray it a few times in some areas to get it wet enough to clean the tougher spots it doesn't have scrubbers on it so it takes a little more work in those areas which is ok because it wont scratch the wood. I am extremely happy as to how fast it dries I wasn't even 1/4 of the way done and the part I first started on was dry. When I was done all I had to do was throw the pad in the washing machine and it was ready to be used again. I now let me son mop with it since it dries so fast before the floors would be to slippery and dangerous with my regular mop. The linoleum took a little more work to do because of the fact is has no scrubbers and my linoleum has cracks and crevices If they make a pad with some way to scrub it would be the perfect mop for all areas of my house. I will continue to use it on my hardwood it works really well and the microfiber pad wont hurt it.

• Safe to use on all hard floors including vinyl, hardwood, laminate and tile

• The Refillable Spray Bottle allows you to customize your clean. Just mix your favorite solution with water or use plain hot water

• The Microfiber cleaning pad picks up 50% more dirt and dust per swipe than traditional mops

• The Microfiber pads are reusable – simply hand wash or machine wash after using

• Non-battery operated spray trigger allows you to dispense as much or as little solution needed to clean your floor

• Constructed with durable yet lightweight material

My overall experience with the Rubbermaid reveal is that it is great for hardwood floors it is easy to use and very cost friendly your not having to purchase refill pads or cleaner for it and it takes no batteries!

Rubbermaid has be so kind to offer one of my readers win a Reveal mop of their own!

CLOSED family taco night With Old El Paso Seasoning mix review and giveaway Ends 11/13 #myblogspark

Growing up I remember we had taco night what seemed like every week it was my favorite dinner because it was the most fun. I loved that everyone could make there own type of taco my mom would fry up so many taco shells, tostada's and even make chips for nachos and we always had corn and flour tortillas to choose from.  I used to love experimenting with all the different toppings and shells I remember my favorite to be tostadas with meat beans cheese lettuce and sour cream. My and my uncle used to have a taco eating contest I remember one time our score was 7 and 6 which I think we might have added a few more than we had actually eaten but it was ok we had fun.

I have so many great memories of taco nights growing up and its something I want my kids to experience. There is nothing like sitting together at the dinner table with tons of food in front of you able to pick and choose what you like. We have had alot of taco nights but they have been dwindling lately and i am not sure why. When My blog spark had offered for me to review Old El Paso seasoning I jumped at the chance it was the perfect way to get taco nights going again. They sent me A packet of Old El Paso seasoning mix, some very festive chili pepper dishes and a cactus shaped chip and dip holder and a $10 Gift card to go toward the rest of what we needed.

So Tonight my husband went to the store and got everything we needed he even got everything to make fresh salsa we would have done this alot sooner but he had been gone training for weeks and i felt it wouldn't have been a family taco night with out the whole family. First he made his "creation" of salsa as he calls it it had a little bit of everything and 2 kinds of peppers he has to have it spicy it came out great just made way to much our neighbors I'm sure will love some home made salsa. Then we both got to work making taco's I browned the meat and added the seasoning, made shells and cooked the beans while he chopped and grated It got done faster than I had thought it would . The seasoning was very simple to use and you only have to add water and of course the meat.I was very pleased with the taste of Old El Paso seasoning and I am not usually a fan of taco seasonings but it was very good and it wasn't to overpowering like some i have used.

We had a great time with family taco night and we will be doing alot more often. I am very excited to be able to share a Old El Paso family taco night prize pack with you from My blog spark and Old El Paso So you can make some fun family taco night memories too.

One Winner will receive the same pack I reviewed it comes with Old El Paso taco seasoning, 3 Chili pepper dishes, Cactus chip and dip dish and a $10 Gift card.

You can also print a coupon for .60 cents of 2 Old El Paso products here.

CLOSED Smart Knit Kids socks review and giveaway! Ends 11/9

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Tired of hearing her son scream “these sock seams keep bugging me,” a mom decided something needed to be done. Every “seamless” sock her son tried had seams in it; there was not a truly seamless sock available. After explaining the frustrating morning routine to countless friends of her son’s struggles with socks, she was finally given the name of Knit-Rite, a textile manufacturer, and contacted them with her request for a seamless kids sock.

After several requests for seamless socks from "desperate" parents, SmartKnitKIDS socks were created. Knit the same way a caterpillar spins its cocoon, SmartKnitKIDS socks are started at the toe and worked up toward the ankle. This process insures a 100% seamless sock, so there are no seams to bug ya! A form-fitting design also keeps those annoying lumps and bumps out of the socks.

I'm sure you all have dealt with a child kicking and screaming because there socks are bugging them. I know I have with my sister. She used to throw the hugest fit every morning until her socks were perfect. At first I thought she was just over reacting to delay going to school but now I have came to realize since she is ADHD that she was more sensitive to these things.

I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to review Smart knit kids socks. I wish I had these years ago when my sister was growing up. They are soft and comfortable my daughter loves to wear them. i like how they aren't too think like most socks she has that always end up getting holes in them after a few wears. They also come in 3 different styles they have Ankle, Crew and Knee high and in 5 different colors.

You can buy them here

CLOSED Carmex Skin care review and and awesome giveaway! Ends 11-4

Carmex® lip balm was invented in 1937 by Alfred Woelbing, literally on the family stovetop. For the next 20 years, Alfred and his wife made Carmex by hand and poured it into the familiar yellow-capped jars. Eventually production moved out of the Woelbing home and into a rented facility in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where it remained until the move in 1975 to its current site in Franklin, Wisconsin.
Carma Labs employs about 100 people and is still owned and operated by the family: Alfred's grandsons Erik and Paul Woelbing.

I have always loved Carmex it is a well known name in our house and was when I was growing up. Anytime someone would complain of chapped lip's or cold sores we would say you need Carmex.
I am positive everyone in my family has a jar of it in there purse or car.

I am very excited to tell you that about Carmex's new skincare line! They now have healing lotion and healing cream .

Carmex Healing Lotion

Carmex® Healing Lotion is made using a patent pending process that delivers healing and moisturization without a greasy feel.

•Use anywhere skin feels dry

•Daily use will help protect skin and keep dryness away

•Rich healing ingredients, including Aloe and Vitamin E, nourish and moisturize skin

Absorbs fast for a non-greasy feel; has a light, pleasant scent

Carmex® Healing Cream is made using a patent pending process that delivers concentrated healing and moisturization of your driest, roughest skin

•Use on your driest skin— especially hands, feet, elbows and knees

•9 healing ingredients penetrate and help repair your very dry, rough or cracked skin

•Concentrated—use a small amount

•Absorbs fast for a non-greasy feel; has a light, pleasant scent

I was very excited to find out Carmex came out with a skincare line and very anxious to try it because I suffer from dry cracked skin and since their lip balm works so well i knew i couldn't go wrong. My favorite of the two is the healing cream because it is thicker and protects my skin longer my hands get very dry and crack and sometimes bleed during the fall/winter months and since using the cream and lotion I have noticed a huge difference. I really love to healing aspect of this lotion most lotions don't have that and only act as a barrier Carmex's lotion and cream heals and protects. Another thing I loved about these is that they absorb fast and aren't greasy.

Carmex was kind enough to send me a huge kit of their products to try in a very cute makeup bag! It came with Carmex healing lotion and cream, Carmex moisture plus sticks and a flavored collection of there lip balm in tubes and jars. ARV of 52.32!

See how awesome this kit is!

And Guess what! They have offered for one of my readers to win the very same kit! I reviewed!

Juvenile Solutions Hush a bye baby hooded towel review

Juvenile Solutions, Inc., created in 1999, is a family owned Los Angeles, California, based company that manufactures Hush a Bye Baby™ line of towels, washcloths and plush Pajama Case Holders, Messeez™ Car-Seat & Highchair covers, Sip & Stroll™ insulated stroller cup holder & Hook n' Go™  In addition the company imports and distributes wholesale unique, safe and practical products from France, Brazil & England & the United States.  Products that assist parents and caregivers in the everyday care of their infants and toddlers.

I have recently ran across a company named Juvenile Solutions I noticed they have a huge selection of really neat and useful baby and toddler products. One product that really caught my eye is there Baby cube's something that would have came in handy when I was making homemade baby food.

I was  given the opportunity to review one of there Hush A Bye Baby hooded towel's and i couldn't be happier with it. I picked the Monkey towel and it was a hit! my daughter loves monkey's  as soon as she seen it she started shrieking and jumping around like a monkey. She couldn't wait to get in the bath so she could use it. They are thick and absorbent unlike most hooded towel's I have used and it is the perfect size it would be great for a newborn or toddler.

Extra long and wide soft cotton terry towels with satin trim

Rabbit, Bear, Duck, Frog, Panda, Monkey, Dalmatian Hoods and new for 2011 Princess & Prince

Towel 100% cotton terry

Hood outer shell 100% polyester

Dimensions: 27" x 44"

They also had a facebook contest recently where whoever got them the most  new fans won a Bubble Fish bath toy organizer and I was very lucky to be that winner! So I thought I would put it in the review too.

The Bubble fish is wonderful is holds all our bath toys and it has drain holes to let all the water out to keep them mildew free. My favorite part about it is that the bottom half detaches from the head and can be used to scoop toys out of the bath tub it makes cleaning up after bath time so much easier. In the head it also has a place to store shampoo or soap it makes it easily accessible for me when I am kneeled down bathing the kids.

A great way to store bath toys

Suctions easily on to Bathroom wall or tiles in a fixed position

Attaches at the perfect height to have children store their bath toys

Small tongues on each suction cup enables the Bubble Fish to detach

Contains no Bishphonal-A, Phthalates, or Lead

You can purchase Juvenile Solution products at any of the retailers on this list
