From our humble beginnings in 1989, to our full-color, full-size catalog of today, Magic Cabin has been guided by the simple notion that children's lives are enriched by ample time for open-ended, creative, imaginative play. We believe in good-old-fashioned make believe and in children's innate need to interact with simple, natural toys and crafts.
While childhood becomes endangered we pioneer towards protecting this special time in life by conscientiously selecting products that are beautiful and enchanting, sturdy and safe, and best of all, FUN.
Magic Cabin has a huge selection of fun imaginative toys, the kind of toys you need your imagination to turn them on. Which reminds me alot of my childhood because I didn't have all these fancy electronic toys that are out nowadays ones you have to replace the batteries in every 2 weeks. I'm not saying electronic toys are bad because there are alot of great educational ones out there but my favorite kinds of toys are the ones that are powered by imagination because the possibilities are endless! I chose to review the Under the sea hideaway.
Our marine-blue "underwater" hideaway is a very special place where children (and mermaids) can launch oceans of imaginative adventures. The gauzy hideaway is crowned with a colorful fabric "seaweed" ring from which 14 soft removable velour sea creatures dangle.
Hanging from a tree limb in the garden or over your child's twin-size bed, it's a cool lagoon. Plastic carrying case included.
For ages 4 and up.
Size 7' tall
We hung the Undersea hideaway above my daughters bed and it was an instant hit with not only my daughter but my 7 year old son too. I first thought he would think it was girly but that wasn't his thought at all he asked me for one for his room, I would love to find a camo one or something similar for him. My daughter calls it her nest and that is where she plays a majority of the day and of course sleeps in, It has tie backs so you can tie the door open which is great for when shes lying in bed watching her movies. It is huge! It will completely cover a twin size bed which would make for a great fort or tent, My daughter will be upgrading to her big girl bed very soon so I'm very excited that the hideaway will be big enough to cover it, My favorite part are the sea creatures that come with it and hook onto the straps at the top and the starfish Velcro the the netting wherever you would like to put them. They have quite a few different hideaways or Bowers to choose from like the Silk fairy bower and the Silk fantasies bower which are a few of my favorites.
A few other items that caught my eye were there collection of sit on horses which look like a stuffed animal but can hold up to 150lbs I can think up a million different games i would have played if i had one of these growing up. Couldn't you?
And their huge Water slide that would be perfect for those long hot summer days don't you think?
Whatever that it may be that gets your imagination going Magic Cabin has offered one lucky reader to win a $50 gift card!
