Joseph R. Gerber started Portland, Oregon's Gerber Advertising back in 1910. For client Christmas gifts in 1939, he hired a local knife maker to craft 25 sets of kitchen cutlery.   They really think of everything when making multi tools. The Crucial F.A.S.T has everything I think my husband would need to have on him at all times. My husband couldn't get it out of the package fast enough literally 2 seconds after i handed it to him he was tinkering with it. He loved the assisted opening blade it just springs right out with no problems it actually shocked him for a minute because he wasn't expecting it but then he fell in love even more. He has had it in his pocket every day since I gave it to him He did forget to take it out when we went to the beach and well sand isn't the best thing for an assisted opening blade but i think we got it all cleaned out just fine.

    His words: " I really like the Crucial F.A.S.T because it is very convenient you do no have to open anything to get to each of the tools, I also really like the assisted opening blade it is very easy to use, although it doesnt like sand. ( which is normal for a anything with moving parts)"
