Thomas the train is a timeless character that everyone can relate to, I am very happy I am able to share the fun of Thomas with my children. We all couldn't wait to watch the new DVD so we made it a family movie night which we do at least once a week but usually ends up to a be a few times a week.  It was a great DVD we all enjoyed I don't want to spoil it for you but Thomas really takes charge in this one! It retails for $14.98 but I found it for $8 from a few places.

Shaun the Sheep "Animal Antics" Is yet another great Shaun the Sheep movie and it was just released yesterday!, It has seven episodes that we all enjoyed both kids were super excited when they seen the movie I am pretty sure it was on for a few hours that day, And every time its movie night they ask for Shaun the Sheep. It retails for $14.98 but I searched for it and found it on Overstock for $9.58!

I need to invest in alot more I find myself debating on which bags I should use the GRIPSTIC's on, My method of finding the worthy bags are if its almost gone it doesn't need one, or if its my favorite snack it has to have one like my trusty Chex mix.

             See how tightly it seals the bag and it looks great to no more wrinkled bags. It is very easy to use you just fold the bag down and put the yellow tip on the bottom side and then you slide it right on. It did take me a second to figure it out because i decided to try without the instructions that come with it. My husband on the other hand is to impatient to make sure the bag is evenly folded so it will slide on. He is getting the hang of it. It definitely beats a bag clip that only closes part of the bag. These create and air tight seal and keep foods fresher for alot longer.

  My son loves to build things, He is always using odds and ends to "invent" his own creations. I love how building and creating gets his imagination going and love to find all different types of construction sets to help inspire it. I received an amazing opportunity to review Eitech construction toys. I received was the beginner race car construction set.

Both sets were alot of fun, The beginner set my son put together in a flash and it was perfect for my daughter to play with she even enjoyed trying to take it apart and build it herself, I think its a great toy for coordination by having to use the tool to tighten or loosen the bolts.

The basic set was alot more complicated, It has very detailed instructions and lots of pieces, It was the perfect project for my son and husband to do together. Which they did, My husband ended up putting most of it together my son had a hard time understanding the instructions and putting the small screws and nuts together.  He is only 7 and its intended for ages 8+ that is why he had a little trouble with it. That is ok by because it made a great father son project especially before deployment! So I think this is definitely a project for Parent and child or an age appropriate child who can focus on the instructions and assemble.

There are a few different models you can build with the basic set. My son wanted it to look like the box so that is how they built it.

We were all very pleased with the outcome of the dragster! Very well put together and sturdy no pieces were falling off at all and my son as been having a blast customizing it by adding the extra pieces to it. He is very excited to try other Eitech constructions sets. They even have some remote controlled ones too!

Diamond Candles was founded in January of 2011. The founders had a desire to make buying candles fun again while at the same time making an attractive and earth friendly candle that you would be excited about having in your home.

           I have always  loved candles, and have acquired a pretty big collection of them.   The inviting fragrance and the dim flickering of the flame bring a cozy and relaxing atmosphere into my home.  Have you ever heard of Diamond Candles? They are a company who makes All natural soy candles with an added surprise! In Every Candle there is a ring inside that can be worth anywhere between $10-$5,000! How Fun right?! They have 10 different scents to choose from even a scentless candle!. I chose to review the Carnival candy scented candle.

        It smells and good as it sounds! I lit it up as soon as I got it and within 10 minutes the room smelled of delicious cotton candy, And I very patiently waited and waited for it to burn down to the ring inside. The candle was alot bigger than I expected and it comes in a very nice quality thick glass jar. I took a few hours for it to burn down to where the ring is which is only a few inches down. It was a good sign that these candles burn for a very long time.

I started at about 5:30pm

And at 7pm I was halfway there...

And around 9pm It was time to see the ring! I was so excited i forgot to take a picture of the time..

 

It was really hard to get a good pic of it I hope you can see it well enough. My camera hates doing close up shots. I love the ring! it may not be real but its very pretty and was very exciting to unveil! I am also very pleased with the candle it has lasted forever It is still about halfway full. I will definitely be buying Diamond candles for Birthdays and Christmas. Each candle is $25 which is a pretty reasonable price for the quality of candle you get. You can check out Diamond Candles Facebook page for a bunch of pictures of others candles and rings plus they also occasionally hold contests and have coupons!
